Welcome Message
Dear participants:
On behalf of the Global Academy of Business & Economic Research (GABER), I would
like to welcome you to the Eighth International Conference in Dubai. Our annual
meetings provide a unique opportunity for academics, practitioners, and policy
makers to present their findings and insights and to exchange ideas in the fields of
business, economics and management, the kind of dialogue that is especially crucial in
the context of current global economic crisis.
GABER is an important source of publishing opportunities for academic and policyoriented research in several international refereed journals, conference proceedings,
and in edited books. Our program is complete with many excellent and exciting papers
on contemporary issues. Those of you who submitted papers and are participating in
the meeting are key to the program’s overall success. The program committee is
composed of scholars across the Globe who carefully evaluated the papers. Although
we have received over 200 papers. however, we have very low number of registered
delegates.
I would like to thank all members of the organizing committee who did an outstanding
job in screening the papers. In addition, I appreciate the members of the whole
organizing committee for their diligent work in helping us set up the program. On a
final note, I thank each participant for making this truly international conference a
success. I wish you a pleasant stay in Dubai, a wonderful city in the Globe. We look
forward to seeing you again in our future conferences.
Best Regards,
mmIslam
Mazhar M. Islam, Ph.D., Professor of Finance
