As a successful continuation of this conference, the 8th Pacific Rim
International Conference on Modeling of
Casting and Solidification Processes
(MCSP8) will be held in Songdo
Convention Center, Incheon, Korea. The conference will still focus on the ideas and interdisciplinary understanding of recent achievements in various fields of Modeling of Casting and Solidification Processes.
The aim is to provide an interactive forum for both scientists and engineers to exchange the latest knowledge to innovative casting and solidification processes of the recent achievements in the
Songdo Convention Center(Incheon, Korea) related science and technology.

Location: All technical sessions will be held in Songdo Convention Center ** . It is located at center of Songdo IFEZ(Incheon Free Economic Zone) and it will take you about 30 min. to access Songdo Convention Center from the Incheon International Airport by limousine. (The
Incheon Bridge is under construction and it will be completed in September 2009.)

KITECH will reserve Songdo Convention Hotel for the conference participants. The hotel is a luxury four star hotel and located in Convention Center.
Weather and Temperature
The average temperature of Incheon in October is about 12~20℃, and it is usually sunny during the conference period.
