Our 5th Graders worked on a very special project leading up to Christmas this year. Their goal was to raise money for this year's
Samaritan's Purse gift catalog which provides practical ways to provide the gift of hope and Jesus to those from around the world
who are suffering. The class was challenged to raise their own money for this project by doing chores or using their personal
savings from allowances. This group raised $805.80 from a collective effort of chores, babysitting, selling hand crocheted
scarves, and simply using their personal savings! One student even collected only dimes for 4 months! They've committed to
praying for the people who will be receiving the gifts they chose from this year's catalog. Thank you 5th Grade for so generously
sacrificing and giving to make this possible!
