 Advisor Bach thanked the crowd for coming out to
the involvement fair, and expressed special gratitude
towards PR Chairwoman Wilson. She also
expressed delight that the Snapchat Launch Party
was such a success.
President’s Report
 President Sebba also thanked Chairwoman Wilson
for organizing such a successful Snapchat event (130
people added the SGA account!) and for the
involvement fair. She reminded the gallery that their
SGA applications were due tomorrow (Tuesday)
night at midnight. Additionally, she urged the body
to get excited for the upcoming Trick or Treat Town
Hall on October 28th- don’t forget to sign yourself up
for a shift!
Treasurer’s Report
 Treasurer Regalado stated that only 17 out of 114
clubs did not send a representative to the treasurer
workshops. Due to a prior commitment, the Finance
Chair was unable to attend the meeting tonight;
therefore, she delivered the details of his address in
his absence. Finance committee allotted $680 to the
Student Occupational Therapy Association, $650 to
Beta Alpha Psi. They also rectified a budget mishap
with Marketing Club by transferring $25 to their
account from the Finance Club budget. MLKSA
was allotted $990 for their retreat, but will be
appealing the allotment tonight.
XI. Speaker’s Report
 Senate leadership meetings will be held Wednesdays
at 12:15 PM in the SGA office.
XII. Committee Report
 Student Life
i. Chairwoman De La Cruz will be reaching out
to Michael Garcia regarding the location of the
food truck and the quality of the picnic tables.
She also requested that SGA hang up a poster
on the office door that reflects the current
officer serving hours in order to better
advertise the opportunity to meet with
representatives.
 Academic Affairs
i. Chairwoman Patel met with her committee last
week to brainstorm ideas. Academic Affairs
meetings are to be Thursdays at 4 PM in the
SGA office.
 Finance
i. No report
 Public Relations
i. Chairwoman Wilson thanked everyone that
helped with the Involvement fair, giving special
thanks to Senators Howard, Nicholas, and
Barron. She reminded the body to continue to
share SGA posts on their personal social media
accounts, and urged those in the gallery to fill
out their applications asap- they close by
Tuesday night at midnight!
 Village Relations
i. Chairman Puleo invited all to attend upcoming
Village Relations meetings, which will be held
Thursdays at 6:45 PM in the SGA office. They
recently met with a representative from the
Interfraternal Council who wished to send
more Greek Life representatives to volunteer
events in the village. Puleo urged those
interested to volunteer at the SGA table at the
upcoming South Orange Play Day, which is to
be held this Sunday from 1-6 PM on South
Orange Avenue.
XIII. Old Business
XIV. New Business
 MLKSA Appeal
i. MLKSA came before the senate to appeal a
recent Finance Committee decision regarding
funding of their annual Fall Retreat. This
retreat costs a total of $5,790- $1,830 for
transportation buses, and $99 per person
registered. There are 40 people expected to
attend, and the invitation was restricted to just
scholarship recipients. MLKSA is open to
contributing $3,000 from their own budget, but
would like more than the $990 that Finance
Committee allotted them for registration fees
for freshmen members.
