In 10/10/1996 he earned the title of PhD in "Roman law and ancient law". He has been a member
of the board of Teachers for PhD in "Law and Economics of production systems " since 2004 He
has been a member of the Seminary of Latin American Studies since 2009. He has been a member
of the scientific committee of the university graduate course in Law and veterinary legislation since
2011. He has been a member of the Editorial Advisory Board (later the Drafting Committee) of the
journal Diritto @Storia. Rivista internazionale di Scienze giuridiche e Tradizione romana, directed
by Prof. Francesco Sini since 2002.
He has taught Institutions of Roman Law at the University of Sassari since 2003 and environment
law in the Roman legal tradition since 2009.
He has participated to numerous national and international research projects of particular note:
1) participation as a member of the research unit of the University of Sassari, the PRIN
2007-2009, nationally coordinated by Prof. G. Lobrano, on the theme "The problem of
constitutional defense of the rights of citizens and the "model" democratic-republican and federalmunicipal Roman model (in MMD anniversary of the establishment of the tribune of the plebs)
"(participating universities: University of Rome La Sapienza, University of Sassari);
2) participation as a member of the research unit of the University of Sassari, the Project
international research "Codigo para a Municipais Ciudade de Curitiba" (participanting Institutes
and Universities: University of Rome La Sapienza, University of Sassari, CNR).
He is a member dell'ISPROM-Institute for Studies and Programs for the Mediterranean (Director
Prof. Pierangelo Catalano). He has been a lawyer and a member of the Bar of Sassari since 2009.
