Same Company, Same Owner, Just A New
Name With A New Location
Chelsea Rentals & Hearth Sales closed their doors on the equipment rental part of their business in March of this year. Last winter, owner Chris Livengood knew she needed to either sell or downsize. Reorganizing the business to focus on the hearth side became the answer.
Livengood spent the summer looking for a new location and establishing a new name for the hearth company. Working with JS
Associates, a local online marketing company, a more user-friendly website was also created.

On Wednesday, October 3rd the newly formed Chelsea Hearth & Fireplaces opened its doors for business at the Oak Tree
Shopping Center on East Old US 12, Chelsea,
Michigan, just off the Fletcher Road Exit.

Livengood confirmed that Chelsea Hearth &
Fireplaces will continue to only provide the top brand names in wood burning, pellet and coal stoves, fireplace inserts and furnace addons. New this year, however, she has added high efficiency gas fireplace inserts to the list of products she carries. They will also continue to offer premium grade wood pellets and anthracite coal as alternative fuels for customers. Customer pellet and coal distributions will take place on Thursday and
Friday evenings from 4 - 7 pm. To help keep expensive warehousing costs down, customer fuel pick up will be held at a separate fuel storage location. Simply call their new business number for directions: 734-433-

Maybe you'll spot one on their perch. Or perhaps they'll fly in overhead to check out up close whoooooo's making that sound. After the program stick around to ask questions and discuss owls and their habitat.
Meet at the Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Road in Chelsea. No preregistration required and all ages are welcome. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as the event takes place rain or shine. Bring something to drink and a flashlight or miner's light. This event is free, however a state park vehicle sticker is required to drive into the center.
The Ghoultide Gathering took place at the Chelsea Fairgrounds this last weekend, and the artists came from across the country, even as far away as California. They were very excited to be in our City, and from what I am hearing our City was very excited they were here. This event filled our hotels and our restaurants, and our merchants prospered as well. We look forward to welcoming them back again next year. If you didn't get a chance to check out their bewitching offerings make sure you don't miss it next year. when youthful dreamer Franco Wicks walks through the door with plans to reinvent the vandalized storefront, Arthur realizes that life still has more to offer him. TRACY LETTS
Tracy Letts is the author of the plays
Killer Joe and Man From Nebraska
(named one of "Time Magazine's" Top
Ten Plays of 2003). He is an ensemble member of the Steppenwolf Theatre
Company. His appearances there include
Homebody/Kabul; The Dazzle;
Glengarry Glen Ross; Three Days Of
Rain, and Picasso At The Lapin Agile.
Film appearances include "Guinevere,"
"U.S. Marshal," and "Chicago Cab."
Television appearances include "The
District," "Profiler," "The Drew Carey
Show," "Home Improvement," and
"Seinfeld." Tracy made his directing debut at the Lookingglass Theatre with
Glen Berger's play Great Men Of Science
