Read the following paragraph, and then answer the questions that follow it.
The way people talk about color spectrum, and even percieve it, varies from one speech community
to another, although all human eyes see the same colours because colors have their own reality in the
physical world. Color consists of visible wavelengths which blend imperceptibly into one another.
No sharp breaks in the spectrum separate one color from another, such as orange from red. But when
speakers in most European communities look at a rainbow, they imagine they see six sharp bands of
color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
