Become familiar with the areas and features of Blackboard. Make a set of learning objectives (goals) and determine competencies. Make an outline of topics based on objectives and competencies. Develop essential questions (for discussion on the threaded discussion area). Determine in class and online components for your course. Gather reading, resources, and online resources. Place into folders for each topic. 7. Develop activities for students to participate in to show their competencies. 8. Develop collaboration activities for Learning Team collaboration. 9. Create a syllabus with a timeline for outline topics. 10. Create assignments and assessments. 11. Create a Welcome Announcement.
