L0 insertion story we brought in set of L0 scintillators to try installation using EB enfourner+poutre. we could not do it (many space conflicts). next attempt, most likely after magnet test, when HCAL is out of magnet and filled up with EB modules. tooling being prepared for it. 2. HB+ cabling (rbx->towers, towers->gb) four bottom wedges have been cabled up: HV RBX->green barracks (no splice boxes) LV RBX-> tower on far side DCS RBX-> tower on far side tower is equipped with PowerDistributionBox (PDB) with 380V/3phase. on the tower, we have: AC/DC converter (380V->48V) one Easy crate with 3 A3016 modules LV p. panel DCS hub from Yb0 tower, we have cables going to green barrack: LV 48V service cable dub power supply cable communication cables for hub->DCS ps and Easy crate->CAEN mainframe extra two cablesDSS (unused as of now) 3. bbgb i&c in gb, we have: rack1: three 9U crates (standard 904 version). first two will do 8 20deg sectors of combined HBHE. third one will be used for HO. rack2: three RM->HTR patch panels, installed, ready to be cabled up rack9: four HV power supplies, LV mainfame, delta p. supply for 48V service line for LV system. 4. remaining installation tasks (as of tuesday evening) hoping to have access to HB+ wedges by wednesday/thursday hope to reach operational stage for lower HB wedges by may 12th (LV, HV, DCS) hook up service voltage for DCS hub on YB0 tower install 3rd A3016 into Easy crate on YB0 tower install air supply for HB+/Near side air driver install rails for HB+ air driver + install air driver by friday install air driver controller into gb (rack #9) install LDB and Laser cables (to RBXes and from Laser (- alcove, in gex/jura corner) prepare/install grounding straps glue psd tubes coming out of indexer bar, plug in unused holes connect OF cables for HB(s14-17): 8*5003, 2*5014, 1*5019 with 4m extensions full cabling of HB+/top wedges water system pressure test N2 inertion system for minus and plus side HB 5. HF wire sourcing in histogramming mode was completed last friday. thanks and congratulations to all wire-source shifters. more raddam data was taken over the weekend, first impression is that numbers look consistent with earlier data (taken before w.s campaign started) remaining tasks: normal mode (random trigger, non-histogramming) calibration with w.s. triggered mode calibration with w.s. ??? (more HF discussions tomorrow at 3:30pm) we were asked to complete all calibration tasks on/before may20, in order to start preparing HFs for transport to sx5 sometime july3-12.
