FAMILY FAITH SHARING QUESTIONS…
November 3rd – 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time – Luke 19:1-10
This story of redemption in Luke allows the reader to see themselves in a situation that we’re all familiar with.
Wanting to be a part of the group, wanting to fit in, but not feeling adequate to do so. Here Zacchaeus wants to
see Jesus. He knows that Jesus has helped others find a new life and wants to have Jesus not only fix his
problem, but to be an active part of finding redemption in his own life. Are we willing to look like a fool to find
redemption in our lives? Are we willing to risk our reputation to admit to our guilt and find a new way to repair
the damage we have done to others in our lives?
