Assessment

Developed and delivered a PeopleSoft HRMS 8.8 to 9.1 Compass upgrade
assessment for Delaware North Companies, a global hospital company.
Delivery included the analysis of the current state footprint, potential new
modules (Recruiting Solutions, ePerformance, eCompensation), and
resourcing requirements. My responsibilities included delivering the analysis,
documentation, and go-forward recommendations for Recruiting Solutions,
Customizations Reduction, Queries, Reports, the Upgrade Project Plan, and
a roadmap of recommendations on the scope, approach, timing, and staffing
required to meet the desired delivery date. Additionally, I managed the
project team to complete the demonstration of the current module new
features and new module overviews to business users.
PeopleSoft Practice
Leader HCM Upgrade

Project leader for the testing/corrective action phase of a PeopleSoft 9.1
HCM upgrade for Darden Restaurants.
Modules included Human
Resources, Base Benefits, Benefit Administration, Recruiting Solutions, and
North American Payroll for 180,000 employees. On a daily basis, I delivered
client relationship management, project team leadership, and the functional
issue resolution for Recruiting Solutions issues logged as a result of testing.
The upgrade was completed on time under budget.

Leader HCM Upgrade
Assessment

Developed and delivered a PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 to 9.1 upgrade
assessment for Moog Inc, a global manufacturing company. The delivery
analyzed current state, potential new modules, and current Moog resources.
My responsibilities included build out of a roadmap of recommendations on
the scope, approach, timing, and staffing required to meet the desired
delivery date and demonstration of new modules/features to business users.
My deliverables included categorization of customizations, query analysis,
report analysis, new feature analysis/demonstration, and a detailed project
plan.

Implementation

Project Director for the implementation of Cablea’s Phase 4B of PeopleSoft
FMS/CRM version 9.0 (General Ledger, Billing, Accounts Receivable, RMA,
Inventory, Correspondence, and Order Management). Managed the client
relationship and the three Project Managers responsible for the
Cabela’s/Oracle teams to deliver the configuration, customization, security,
testing, conversion, and technical infrastructure tuning (code, hardware,
database, and network). Through visual, written, and oral communication, I
ensured the Executives, and team managers were aware of issues and risks,
timeline, and budgetary progress. The delivery team consisted of 3 Project
Managers, 38 fulltime Cabela’s/Oracle Consulting, 4 fulltime Oracle
Near-Shore, and 18 fulltime Oracle Offshore resources.

Upgrade

Project Director for the upgrade of Waste Management’s (WM) PeopleSoft
Financials System from version 8.4 to 9.0 (General Ledger, Accounts
Payable, Project Costing, Asset Management, Purchasing, eProcurement,
Commitment Control). Coordinated and facilitated the WM/Oracle team
through the process of delivering fit/gap analysis, configuration,
customization elimination, security enhancements, system tuning, testing,
and technical infrastructure (hardware, operating system, database, and
network). Through effective resource management of the 45 fulltime Waste
Management/Oracle Consulting, 2 fulltime Oracle Near-Shore, 13 fulltime
Oracle Offshore, and 3 fulltime Oracle Lab resources, I delivered the 41 week
project on the contracted go-live date, and under the $3.2 Million budget.

Upgrade RFP

Managed 20 Waste Management/Oracle Consulting resources to deliver the
PeopleSoft Portal 9.0 upgrade on time and within budget utilizing the Oracle
Compass methodology. Day-to-day delivery included directing the fit/gap
analysis, content migration, branding updates, and upgrade of the hardware,
operating system, database, and network infrastructure. I delivered the
solution within the 10-week timeline and $300K budget and lead the
successful RFP pursuit process to win the FMS Upgrade project.


Managed a team of six consulting resources and provided subject matter
expertise for the Upgrade Value Assessment of the; WM Financial

Administration, Payroll); and SCM (General Ledger, Contracts, Accounts

upgrade timelines, associated business value, project staffing models, and a
technical assessment of hardware, operating systems, databases, network
infrastructure refresh plans.

Directed the $3.2M re-launch of the Longaberger.com website including
design, build, test, and deploy, resulting in first year $2 Million incremental
revenue.

Ship strategic plan used to retool fulfillment services from consolidated
distribution of product to end customer distribution.

Solution Architect that developed and presented RFP/Vendor Selection for
the Integrated Software Solution for the Senior Executive Leadership team
resulting in awarding of the full-suite (32 modules) PeopleSoft project with a
$28M dollar budget and a 3-year $60 Million return on investment.
