CHECKLIST FOR DEPRECIATION OF CHATTELS AND BUILDINGS
The following checklist provides a detailed summary of items which are regarded as chattels and part of the
property building. The appropriate rates of depreciation for chattels is also indicated.
This checklist should be used is determining what chattels exist in your rental property to ensure that you are
maximising your allowable deductions.
