Our Mission
Training highly qualified financiers for enterprises and organizations of different industrial sectors who will
be able to take competent and substantiated decisions.
About the Faculty
Institute of Financial Management was founded in 1998. In 2007 it became part of a new Faculty of
Finance and Credit. From 1, July 2009 the Financial Management Faculty starts its work as a separate
department. The Financial Management Chair is the core in the Faculty’s activities.
Our Graduates
The Faculty trains highly qualified financial management specialist for the industry, state and municipal
executive bodies, banks and financial companies. The Faculty alumni are in high demand at organizations
and enterprises of different sectors of the economy.
Our Professors
Our faculty members are experienced professors with academic degrees and titles. The majority of our
professors conduct research activities and their outcomes are used in educational process, publications,
presentations at scientific conferences. The human resources policy allows to combine experience of
honored professors and creativity of young faculty members.
The Faculty cooperates with a number of researches and practitioners of financial management. Heads of
financial departments from the biggest companies and organizations lecture at our Faculty.
Our Programs
The Faculty offers Bachelor programs in management, majoring in financial management.
Educational Process
Alongside traditional lectures and seminars we hold scientific discussions and round table discussions.
The main goal of such practical training is to develop students’ practical skills in managing company’s
finances and analytical substantiation of financial and investment decisions, to develop students’ research
and creative abilities.

In educational process we highlight discussions of applied problems. Combination of teaching at our
Faculty with practical work for enterprises, banks and other institutions allow our professors to intensify
the educational process, make it closer to relevant problems of businesses, management of finance and
investment activities of enterprises and organizations.
Practical Training and Job Placement
The majority of our students have internships at big industrial enterprises, construction companies,
trading companies, commercial banks, public institutions. Most of them are invited to work on a
permanent basis after successfully completing their predegree internships.
