Purpose
To create top English-speaking professionals who are able to work successfully in financial markets using
modern qualitative and quantitative methods of financial analysis.
About the Faculty
The Faculty offers Bsc and Msc programs in International Economics with English as the basic language
of instruction.
We provide full-time education on contractual basis. Our students have the opportunity to undertake an
internship and/or get a degree in a prestigious western partner university.
Career opportunities
Excellent education and high level of English ensure a successful employment and career progress. Our
graduates can apply for and get a high-paying job in leading Russian and international companies
keeping positions of finance director/analyst, auditor, risk-manager, chief accountant, etc.
Our professors
We attract only top class professors with brilliant knowledge of the subject and excellent command of
English. Our Faculty boasts of staff professors A. Settles (PhD, Univ. of Delaware, USA, corporate
management and financial markets), assistant professor D.R. Sarkisyan (PhD, Univ. of N. Illinois),
assistant professor D.V. Berezin (10 year work and teaching experience in Japan), professor E.B.
Gerasimova (banking auditor, accounting and audit) and many other no less experienced professors of
the Finance Academy and other leading universities of Moscow.
Training process
We run a module system of education, i.e. each semester has two 8-9 week modules with a week of midterm exams. Classes are organized in small groups following advanced educational methods based on
leading foreign textbooks of latest editions.
