The School of Criminal Justice would like to add CJ5043-Modern Criminal Investigations to the
Guided Electives list.
9. Please provide a concise, yet comprehensive, statement that explains the reasons for requesting
the change. Include documentation or assessment information supporting the specific request (if possible).
This course would prove to be highly useful to those seeking to become crime analysts. It may
well be the only opportunity for these students to participate in an investigative process and
thereby gain the crime scene experience essential to the function of crime analysis.
