Principal Software Engineer
 Responsible for the design and implementation of a .Net client interface and Java middle tier
components related to portfolio modeling providing a comparator to account holdings and
order generation to properly align holdings to a weighted model using security or category
classifications. Model building design includes models of models (composite modeling) and
dynamic structure building and weighting, invest/divest instructions by classification category
as well as account filtering to the category level.
 Developed portfolio modeling .Net user interfaces, client business logic and middle tier web
services using internationalized windows in C# .Net with a combination of custom controls
extending Developer Express controls as well as CrownWood window docking functionality,
ADO.Net, SOAP, and Java Web Services using AXIS and JMS (OpenJMS and Sonic) on a
Jakarta/Tomcat middle tier.
 Development of all .Net client and Java middle tier components of a bulk order rebalancer
capable of model alignment in terms of order allocation, currency overlay or currency forward
using Java Web Services, JMS using the Command design pattern. The middle tier
components resulted in a cross machine scalable product capable of modeling and order
generation for very large numbers of accounts.

 Developed and delivered custom and MOC classes to clients on current development
strategies, and .NET development.
 Developed custom line of business applications for a large food service company using their
application framework. Saved several failing projects and delivered them successfully.
 Implemented a set of practices for development at a large packaging client.

 Developed company website.
 Worked on a team to design and develop a custom application integrating Microsoft Office,
SQL Server, Closers’ Choice and Southware Accounting Software for a large title insurance
company. Highlight: Initial rewrite of existing product complete in 60 days.
 Performed analysis, design, implementation, testing deployment and support for a Human
Resources application to track Personal Time Off for a major financial institution. The
application was built using Microsoft SharePoint Portal Services and WebParts on a Digital
Dashboard, SQL Server, SQLXML and HTC’s.
 Obtained MCSD and MCDBA certifications.
