Geometry Creative Vocabulary Story
Your assignment will be to write a creative story using the following geometry vocabulary words
from unit 1.

Your writing should be as if you are writing a story for your writing teacher.
Your story must be creative. (choose a genre or topic that is meaningful to you)
Your story must prove that you are using the math terms correctly in a math context.
Your story can be wacky or serious, fact or fiction and must be coherent with schoolappropriate language.
Stories can be of any length (from one paragraph to two pages) as long as all the
vocabulary terms are used correctly and in proper context.
An illustration must be drawn that captures your story’s theme.
Your creative story will be assessed and graded as your first quiz grade! This means the grade
you receive on this assignment will determine what grade you begin the year with! Good Luck
