I am working as a Planning Engineer in VASANTHA TOOL CRAFTS PVT.LTD, in
Production Planning and Control Department .
Working as Planning Engineer in the area of Production Planning from Aug‘13
Vasantha Tool Crafts, successfully design & manufacture Precision Molds “Fully
Hot Runner Molds & In-Mold Closing” of high productivity and high cavitations for
various applications such as Switch Gear, Electronics, Home Appliances, Medical,
Writing Instrument, Caps and Closure for pharma, Cosmetics & Health Care
Segments.
VTC is providing various services in Production, Training, Design & Quality
Control. The VASANTHA TOOL CRAFTS works with Total Quality Management

VTC Provides Precision Tooling for wide range of Industries such as Unilever-Global,

materials required for the production and communicating the same to the
concerned people.
Responsible for planning of production based on schedules and identifying
resource requirements in terms of machine, man power and materials.
Responsible for making rough machining drawing and OPG sheets for gear
grinding and thread grinding using AutoCAD, Uni-graphics,Catia V5
Software.
Coordinate between the various departments regarding Projects.
Ability to Take Corrective Action during the Projects.
Drawing
the Component prior to HEAT treatment by considering effective
thickness and giving the Heat treatment cycles as
per QA plan to achieve
specified hardness.




Designing of jigs,Fixtures,templates.
Providing CNC co-ordinates of the component for machining.
Estimation of Raw material requirements.
Preparing detailed process plan, Process drawings and manufacturing
drawings from raw material stage to finished component.
