Challenge Statement: In Indonesia, there are a lot of brilliant innovations of renewable energy
technology that produced by high school students but it’s just leave as lab experiments or
prototypes. It’s more valuable if the idea can reach the society by having entrepreneurship or
social involvement for people to see the real implementation of the ideas.
Mission Statement: Produce the business plan of simple renewable energy idea and learn to
implement it innovatively for small business or social activities.
Proposed Methodology:
This competition designed to raise awareness to care about by creating new possibilities on
alternative energy and to influence entrepreneurship spirit to students. This competition will run
from October 11-17, 2013 with the process from July 15, 2013 – January 31,2014. This will start
from the ideas registration that suitable and easy to implement, judgment process, then eight
selected finalist will present their idea and best of three will present their business plan,
following with seminars by renewable energy entrepreneurs. First winner will receive grants for
business plan implementation and will be monitored and gets business mentoring with us. After
the implementation we will hand report for local government as the feedback for future
development
Monitoring Approach:
For monitoring, we give three months trial period for project work with the evaluations every 2
weeks, that cover society appreciations, feedbacks, profits, financial report, mentoring
performance with mentors and teamwork between group member.
Then we hope there are long lasting professional relationship and future collaboration between
speaker, International Exchange Alumnae and participants, also we look for willingness from
local government and society to initiate the proposed ideas and feedbacks for future
development of ideas.

Moving Forward: I hope the business that the participant build can have success for their
business and spread the business out to society, run business in environmental-friendly
practices, and the industries can come and develop the product better to be mass produced.
