How to Save The American Republic (Identify Friends and Expose Enemies) To the signers of the Declaration of Independence John Hancock counseled, “Gentlemen we must now all hang together.” To this Ben Franklin added, “or most certainly we will all hang separately.” Hanging together is now our greatest national need to save our Republic. The same document that facilitated the birth of our nation is now the only document powerful enough to unite us for a national rebirth. Religious leaders intuitively know that to save a failing marriage, if it can be saved, put God back into the relationship. The best and perhaps only hope of saving our failing Republic is the covenant of the Declaration of Independence between three parties: the people, the government and God. This covenant is also the very embodiment of the two great commandments and harnesses the power of love. The great American miracle is that as Americans accepted the responsibilities of selfrule, God made the blessings of kings available to an entire nation. God’s rule is self-rule. Selfdetermination is God’s greatest gift. Rejection of self-rule and self-determination for self or others is a rejection of God. When we reject God, we reject his blessings. Restore the covenant to restore the blessings! ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………… What and Why--Proposal for the 28th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution The American Declaration of Independence Restoration and Recovery Act Whereas the United States has a founding document, The Declaration of Independence, and original intent clearly puts this document as part of our government and as the prime document and interpretive filter to be used for all law, Constitutional conception, and interpretation. Whereas the Declaration of Independence has been removed from its proper role and is no longer considered part of our government by the judicial, executive, or legislative branches, and this neglect has been a major factor in interpreting away original intent of the Constitution. Whereas the Declaration of Independence is the connecting thread and covenant between the people, the government, and the religious heritage of our culture. Whereas the people of the United States recognize and reverence the Declaration of Independence as the pre-eminent key factor and covenant responsible for the rise of the American Miracle of prosperity, protection and individual self-determination. Whereas the people of the United States have within their power and authority to amend the United States Constitution to rectify abuse and restore this document’s proper role. Whereas the oath of office seems to have lost meaning by many who take this oath. Whereas the Declaration of Independence is an American treasure with timeless principle that has enlightened and blessed the entire world, we as Americans under the banner of national unity, solidarity, rule of law, equality, protection of minorities and democratic/representative principle, therefore come together and propose the following amendment to the United States Constitution. Proposed Wording for the 28th Amendment to the US Constitution From this time forth the Constitutionally-prescribed oath of office shall include the words after the Constitution affirmation… “and the principles of the Declaration of Independence.” This amended oath of office shall be reissued to all public officials currently in office as well as for all newly elected or appointed officials. Further, from this time forth the principles of the Declaration shall be the foundational interpretive filter for the Constitution and all subsequent law. The willful breaking of this oath by representative officials shall cease. Official votes and action by convicted oath breakers are invalid and offenders shall be removed from office through prosecution for perjury. This shall become a high priority of the judicial branch. In further protection of these principles, Congress is empowered with power and responsibility to review, impeach and cause to be removed from office oath-breaking judges. The major principles of the Declaration of Independence are defined as follows; 1. That the laws of nature and Nature’s God (Blackstone 1776 definition) are the foundation of correct government. This principle of rule of law requires law be applied equally to everyone including elected officials. Government-created class, structure, legal exemption or exclusive jurisdiction of law is prohibited. The 16th amendment is contrary to this principle and is repealed. 2. That because of the laws of nature and Nature’s God, not only are these United States entitled to their separate and equal station, but the creators of these states, the people of these states, are likewise entitled to their own separate and equal station. Our Republic based on Declaration of Independence principles accomplishes the legal protection of minorities by recognizing everyone as ultimately a minority of one. This equality specifically includes the equal protection of all “natural rights”, defined as those rights that come naturally to each individual and as a birthright under the banner of heaven and just government and specifically does not include any perceived rights that indenture other individuals, groups or classes of people to provide the said perceived right. This principle invalidates the national health care mandate. 3. That these truths are self-evident that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. This is specifically rights to come equally before God, before the Courts and before the Government. This specifically is not any inherent right of equality of property which directly remove subsequent rights of self-determination stated as Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The right to come equally before God and recognition of the Creator is the impetus for first amendment rights, including the long established responsibility of religion to teach correct principle necessary for a free people to govern themselves. Government encroachment on the free exercise of religion shall cease, including taxation restraint upon political activism of churches. This principle forbids government prescribed religion, including the philosophy of atheism. The Bible is a honored part of our universal heritage. 4. That the purpose of government is to protect unalienable rights to individual life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This is intricately and inseparably connected to Individual; Property rights, Self-determination, Freedom and Independence. 5. That a foundational natural law is that government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed, thus; Executive orders apply only to the executive branch, unrepresentative police power (i.e. armed Homeland Security) is invalid. The vote process allowing only registered voters and counting must be secured. The 17th amendment removing state representation is contrary to this principle and is repealed.
