For the remainder of the semester, you will be required to hand draw all of your maps. Mental Maps are not graded on artistic ability, but on your correct locations of countries, cities, and physical features on the map. You will create 2 maps. One map will be the physical features of Latin America. You must include all of the items in the cut list provided and color the mountains BROWN, all water features BLUE, plains GREEN, and deserts YELLOW. Your second map will be the political map of Latin America which will include all countries, capitals, and major cities. Each country will be colored a different color that share a border. Make sure you include all of the listed items below on your map. Your mental maps MUST include all of TODALS (Title, Orientation, Date, Author, Legend and Scale) to receive full credit on your mental maps. You will use your mental maps to study for map quizzes and tests. Mental maps will also be taken as a separate daily grade.
