“This I Believe” statements. Go to www.thisibelieve.org and choose to “browse essays” by topics. There is
also a link to “This I Believe” essays in Spanish also. You can click on the left hand side to search the
essays. You need to read at least four essays today. For each essay you read, answer the following
questions:
What is the first
How is the author
sentence of the piece? trying to grab your
attention?
What does the
author believe in?
Find a quote that shows
the author’s belief
Write below a story,
conversation, or
example that shows
this belief.
Summarize it below.
