SSB INTERVIEW INSTRUCTIONS AT BHOPAL
SSC (NT) /NCC/ALL OTHER TECHNICAL OR NONTECHNICAL GRADUATE AND
POST GRADUATE FOR FEMALE CANDIDATES(ARMY/NAVY/AIR FORCE)
1.
If you are selected / nominated for grant of commission in the Indian Army , please read the
instructions in the following paragraphs.
2.
You are required to report at MCO (on Platform number 1 ) BHOPAL RAILWAY STATION at
1430 hours on the date of your reporting Please note, late comers will not be accepted for testing.
Transport will be available at the station between between 1430 to 1500 hours.
3.
YOUR ROLL NO IS MENTIONED WITHIN BRACKETS AGAINST YOUR NAME IN YOUR
ABOVE ADDRESS. Call Up and joining instructions are being dispatched to you, please read them
carefully and ensure compliance. You are liable to be returned without interview for non-compliance.
The candidates are required to bring with them the under mentioned original educational certificates
along with two attested photocopies of these documents while reporting for SSB Interview:(a)
DATE OF BIRTH PROOF -You have to produce 10th standard Pass Certificate and
Marks Sheet by the Board of Secondary Education (in Original) as proof of your Date of Birth.
(Admit Card/ Transfer Certificate/ Identity Cards etc, will not be accepted for date of birth proof).
(b)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION PROOF -Independent Marks Sheets of all the
years/parts/semesters of the Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation/Diploma/Post Graduate
Diploma and Degree or Provisional degree and or Certificates as per the advertisement of your
Course. (registration certificate duly issued by bar counsel of india for jag entry only). NCC ‘C’
Certificate (minimum of ‘B’ Grade) in Army/Navy/Air Force with one attested copy for NCC entry .
(c)
In case the result of final year/ Semester is awaited, then the candidate will bring a
certificate from the Principal/Head of Institution stating that the result of final year will be declared
by the due date as applicable in the advertisement.

IDENTITY PROOF - PLEASE BRING WITH YOU PAN CARD/DRIVING
LICENCE/PASSPORT/VOTER ID HALL TICKET OF LATEST EXAMINATION WITH YOUR
SIGNATURES, IDENTIFICATION MARK AND YOUR DATE OF BIRTH IN ORIGINAL FOR
VARIFYING YOUR IDENTITY.
4.
Essential Items. Please bring the following items while reporting for SSB Interview:(a)
One pair white PT shoes and two pairs of white socks.
(b)
During testing schedule you will have to undergo outdoor activities & some
physical exercises. Hence, you are required to bring 2 pairs of appropriate dress for
outdoor exercises, i.e, Track Suits/Lowers & T shirts (preferably) or Salwar and Short
Kurtas, that would be a practical decent attire for outdoor tests.
(c)
Adequate writing material.
(d)
Fourteen copies of the latest passport size unattested identical coloured
photographs and four attested by Gazetted officer.
(e)
One lock - for locking valuables in locker.
(f)
(h)
Two pairs of convenient civil dress.
Risk certificate as enclosed duly signed by your parents.
5.
Change of Centre/Date of Interview. No request for change of Centre will be entertained by
this Selection Centre. In case, you are unable to attend on the date and time given above and want to
change the date of interview, please intimate your inability to THIS CENTRE and NOT to ADG Recruiting
Army HQ, New Delhi, through Fax/Speed Post immediately on receipt of the Call Up letter. Please ensure
that your request for change of date of interview should reach this Centre not later than the date of your
reporting. Such requests received thereafter will not be accepted. If you are a local candidate of Bhopal,
then intimate such fact to this Centre immediately, and await further instructions.
6.
Medical Standards. Candidate reporting for his SSB interview should take care of the following
medical points failing which he is liable for rejection:-
(a)
Ideal Age, Height and Weight (Female). It should confirm to the height-weight
table. In recording fraction lower than 0.5 Kg will be noted and 0.5 Kg above will be
recorded as
1 Kg. A correlation table between age, height and average weight is

The minimum acceptable height and weight for women candidate is 152 cm and
42 kg. In case of candidates belonging to the North East and hilly areas like Gorkhas,
Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis, the height will be relaxed by 5 cms and weight
commensurate with reduce heights
(c)
No wax in the ear.
(d)
No skin disease.
(d)
Minimum 14 dental points.
(e)
No vision defect.
(f)
No abdominal operation in past one year.
(g)
No Varicocele.
7.
Cell Phones. Cell phones are strictly prohibited inside the Selection Centre. Do not bring any
cell phones.
8.
Travelling Allowance. Where authorized second-class mail/express train fare including
reservation charges by the shortest route from home station to Bhopal will be paid and bus fare from
home station to the nearest railway station, if not connected by rail. For return journey, cash as
admissible will be paid. Reimbursement of fare will be on production of rail and bus ticket/receipt.
Please note that NO reimbursement of fare will be permitted in case you are not in possession of
original educational certificates or not in possession of original tickets or withdraw from testing
on your own accord or any other valid reason.
9.
Change of Address. Change of address, if any, after submission of application will be intimated
to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting (NDA entry), AG’s Branch, Army HQ, West Block-III, R
K Puram, New Delhi-110066 and SELECTION CENTRE CENTRAL, BHOPAL.
10.
Compensation. Government is not responsible for any compensation to the candidate or to his
guardians/heirs for injuries sustained by him during the period of testing. However, facilities exist to
attend to the candidates falling sick or sustaining injuries during their stay at this Centre.
11.
Correspondence. While corresponding with this Centre or ADG Rtg, Army HQ, please mention
your Roll No, Name, Call Up letter No & date, Type of Entry, Course Serial Number, Batch No, Chest No
(if appeared in the test earlier) and your full Postal Address, otherwise, no action will be taken on your
application.
12.
Bedding is provided by this Centre. Do not bring bedding.
13.
Lunch on Arrival Day. Candidates are advised to have their meals before reporting to this
Centre, as there is no provision for lunch on the day of arrival.
Queries if any will be answered on all working days between 0900 hours to 1400 hours
only.
