GENERAL

ALL paragraphs and writing tasks must be done using complete sentences, proper grammar, and appropriate vocabulary.
Points will be taken off for incomplete sentences, improper vocabulary usage and inadequate vocabulary usage.
Points will be taken off if you do not label all work with titles, full name, date, block number!
(Don’t make me guess what you’re trying to do!)
LEVEL ONE:
You must create flashcards or match books for defined words…you cannot simply define them on a sheet of paper.
LEVEL TWO:
The concept map must include leading terms that link the bubbles or boxes. You should be able to read the concept map like reading a paragraph.
The graphic organizer must be filled in completely (do not simply list one fact for each and think you are done… this is worth 10 points… EARN all 10!)
LEVEL THREE:
If you choose to create a DRAWING, it must be no smaller than 30cm X 30cm and no larger than
60cm X 60cm. The drawing must include labels. If you choose to create a 3D MODEL, it must be no smaller than 15cm 3 and no larger than 45cm 3 . The model must include labels such as “flags” stuck into it.
The children’s story must have a well developed plot and multiple characters. It should read like a children’s story while still utilizing appropriate vocabulary. The story must have illustrated pages. The story must be at least 10 pages long.
The comic strip must have a storyline.
