This session will cover how elder abuse cases are investigated and prosecuted in Ramsey County and the City of St. Paul. The session will also cover how adult protection, police departments and prosecutors collaborate to help protect the elderly. Target Audience: All interested persons Learning Objectives Goal 1: Define elder abuse and its causes Goal 2: Provide an overview of potential charges related to elder abuse Goal 3: Discuss the evidence needed to charge a financial exploitation of an elderly victim case Pre-registration is required Each person needs to register through the link provided below.
