their
Second Annual Student
Success
Celebration
in
Danner Hall. The ceremony
recognizes successes of
students who have obtained
AA

certificates and placement
on
the
Dean’s

they honored 159 students.
Some students earned as
many as four certificates
and a degree.
Others
earned two or three degrees and recognition on the Dean’s and
President’s lists. “Our students are really amazing!”, states
Tiffanie Panella, Delta’s CalWORKS Director.
They were honored to have Dr. Rodriguez in attendance to present
Mayor Edward Chavez as their Keynote Speaker. Both Dr.

praised the students. Aleja Rambonga from Delta’s Human
Resources gave a truly inspiring speech and set a wonderful
