Hopefully, this will help us through a great season. Realize that the weather may not cooperate and there is only one rain date scheduled. Playoffs will be run as an open tournament with seeds based on results turned in. 1. Coaches are responsible for their team being ready to start the game on time. This means, be at the field before the start of the game and have a warm up completed. 2. Try to anticipate whether the other team will have similar jerseys. (ie. Faiview and St. Agnes) and bring pinnies to the game. This is the responsibility of the home team. The referee will decide if they are needed. 3. The coach should have a game sheet prepared before the game with the pertinent information already completed. (See game sheet in your package). Experienced coaches know how to fill out a neat game sheet with all the players and their numbers, and then photocopy the sheets for however many games you intend to play. Usually, referees will ask for the game sheet at half time. email the results to the league coordinator ASAP. Be sure that all information is clearly shown and that the referees have signed the sheet. Try to include goal scorers and keepers for both teams on the sheet. Girls “Tier 1” – Ryan Tully (ES) 802-6572(cell) 4. If there is no official for the game, you may agree to play the game and the coaches referee the game or you may attempt to play the game at another time. Please let the coordinator know ASAP of any rescheduling of a game not played due to no referee. 5. Fees for a game will not be paid on site by either team. A bill will be sent to the school at the beginning of the season. As mentioned in the meeting all fees are due prior to sept. 30th 6. Do not call us if you are unsure of field conditions. Field Cancellation: 490-7100, press 2 and 1 (after 1:00pm) for a message. 7. The Citadel Zone protest committee will handle any protests. Follow the procedures contained in the technical package of the MJHAA handbook for protests. 8. Games will be 25 min halves. 9. Tie-Breakers for final standings will be determined the following ways: 1) Goals for/ goals against (+/-) If there is an uneven amount of games played due to weather I will do winning % to seed for the final tournament. PLEASE NOTE: If you are unable to field a team on any scheduled day it is the coaches responsibility to contact the other school team and to contact the ref assignor (Mike Spurr-220-5645 or email spurr.michael@gmail.com) to cancel the ref. Also, contact the league coordinator. This will prevent officials and teams arriving to a game that you have no intention of playing. *Failure to do so means that your school will be billed for the official.
