The Alpha Kappa Psi Award is awarded annually by the Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation in recognition of
outstanding achievement on doctoral dissertation by marketing doctoral students. Prior to 1987, the Academy of
Marketing Science sponsored a doctoral dissertation completion which recognized outstanding achievements on
doctoral dissertations. This competition started in 1978

AMS award was given for 2 years to cover-but name award is terminated.
The Jane K. Fenyo Student Paper Award is awarded annually to the most outstanding student paper received in
connection with the student paper competition sponsored by the Academy of Marketing Science. The student paper
competition started in 1977 and was renamed in honor in honor of Jane K. Fenyo in 1983, after her untimely death.
The M. Wayne Delozier Award is awarded annually to the person(s) who author the best paper in the field of
marketing. This award started in 1992 and was made possible by the generous donation of M. Wayne Delozier.
The Jagdish N. Sheth Award is awarded annually to the person(s) who author the paper chosen as the best paper to
be published in JAMS each year. This award started in 1992 and was made possible by the generous donation of
Jagdish N. Sheth.
