Duties and Responsibilities:
 Full responsible for the quality of the product.
 Giving technical support for the product.
 Inspection & approval of raw material using for the ready mix & precast concrete products
 Organising the laboratory functioning
 Inspection of manufactured products & giving final approval for the delivery
 Calibration of concrete batching plant & laboratory equipment
 Daily inspection of materials & conducting testing on material
 Batching plant inspection, checking the quantity of daily production
 Making the mix design for new grade concrete
 Ensure that concrete is achieving it characteristics by conducting trial mixes
 Making the summary of trial mix

Duties and Responsibilities :
Administrating all Quality Assurance activities and Documentation in accordance with
Quality Plan Project Specification and Contractual requirements .
 Testing Witnessing and Supervision of all Laboratory related works.
 Check on daily basis Quality control Tests on materials ( soil , aggregate , concrete , rock,
asphalt , .. etc )
 Involve in all Testing and reporting activities on soil , asphalt , rock concrete …etc.
 Preparation of Concrete Mix Design and JobMix of Asphalt.
 Evaluation and Interpretation of related section of the ASTM , BS , ACI , CIRIA , General
and Special Specifications of Projects.
 Overall responsible for coordinating with the Client , Consultant ,Contactor and Central
Laboratory regarding Testing activities.
 Verification of Testing activities as well as Approval of the Test reports.
 Notify the Consultant and the Contractor regarding any deviations in the Test results with
respect to the Project Specifications / International Standards.
 Schedule the Daily activities of the site Laboratory according to request received.
 Arrange Internal Quality Checking Tests.
 Ensure that machines and equipments used for testing are calibrated and Carried out InHouse Calibration of Equipments as per the monthly Schedule and submit the records.
 Verify the activities of the Technicians while performing the test and initial the worksheet.
 Cube and Block Samples, which require soaking, curing shall be transferred to the curing
tank, maintain at the specified temperature upon reception of the sample and proper
identification.
 Ensure that the temperature of curing tank complies with the specification and records the
temperature monitoring is maintained.

in the Laboratory as per International Standards.
 Responsible for In-House Calibration of Testing Equipments .
 Ensure that all safety measures are taken during Testing
 Ensure that all equipments used are maintained in good working condition once the Test is
over and notify the section coordinator if any malfunction noticed during the testing.
 Only calibrated Equipments shall be used for testing purpose.
