TEXTBOOK Lab: Anatomy & Physiology Lab Manual III. COURSE OBJECTIVES: The lab component of Bio 101/102 is to give students an opportunity to visualize and get hands-on experience about the topics learned from the lecture. Students will use models, pictures and sometimes computer programs to reinforce concepts from the lecture. IV. EXAMINATION There will be three lab practical tests of equal credit of 50 points and 5 pop quizzes with 5 points each. Students are also expected to finish all figures in lab manual, which sum up to 25 point. All lab activities including pop quizzes, lab tests and completion of figures together contribute 15% of the total credit for Bio 102. No lab test, nor pop quiz can be made up. All examinations will be conducted under close-book, close-note, and close-neighbor condition. Cheating will be severely punished. V. GRADE There is no separate grade for the lab. Credits from lab account 15% of Bio 102. VI. Academic Support Center for Academic Success and First-Year Experience provides assistance and support for all students. Services include peer tutoring, individual consultation to assist students with achieving their academic goals, study skills materials, Writing Studio, and accommodations for students with disabilities.
