Recent News

CoP presented at 2 major international conferences in October – Educause &
ISSoTL. Summaries and reflections will soon be available in the blog.

ePort CoP future directions workshop summary...We will continue with this
visioning work in our November meeting.

Dennis Yoo, a 3rd year student in Chemistry, has been hired through the Work
Study Program to work on the student angle of the e-portfolio pilot this fall.
Dennis has been making connections with student groups and career fairs across
campus. Dennis will also be working in a number of pilots to help support the
students creating e-portfolios.

The International Peer Program will be introducing e-portfolios to students in the
program in November. One of the core goals of the project will be to provide
students with opportunities to connect their Peer Program experiences with other
leadership experiences, with their cultural backgrounds and with their educational
goals. They will use a combination of software tools within this project, including
ELGG and Flickr.
