Programmatic Information:
Communications is part of the general education department. Speech is required of all
degree seeking students. Students from other schools in the state sometimes take this
course at Ivy Tech to fill their requirement. Other communications classes such as
Introduction to Interpersonal Communication and Introduction to Mass Communication
can be especially helpful electives to students in business and Social Service programs.
