June 1998 to Present – Providing EDI consulting services and responsible for
software implementation and integration of Sybase's EDI Server suite of ebusiness software for customer solution set (formerly the PaperFree Systems
EDI product suite) . Recent clients supported include:
Department of Veteran Affairs – Currently providing EDI mapping
services for the analysis and development of maps using ECMap.
Includes implementation of proprietary data repository system for
HIPAA X12, UB92 and HCFA transactions. Additional
responsibilities include map documentation, quality assurance, training
and knowledge transfer.

Sybase, Inc – Currently performing map development services for the
enhancements of the HIPAA Toolkit and HIPAA Accelerator software
packages.

MDWise – Currently developing maps using the ECMap product for
the HIPAA implementation initiative. Including HIPAA X12
translation maps (276/277, 278RQ/278RP, 270/271, 837, 835).

IBC – Independence Blue Cross. Developed an EDI Gateway System
using ECMap and ECGateway product suite for the HIPAA
implementation initiative. Included HIPAA X12 translation maps
(276/277, 278RQ/278RP, 270/271, 837, 835, UB92), process scripts,
trading partner design analysis, transaction reporting and error
exception handling.

EDS Government Systems Division – Provided technical consulting
services for EDS on the United States Department Of Veteran Affairs
Health Administration Center project. Included gap analysis and
HIPAA compliant crosswalk for the NCPDP transaction that include
the claim, eligibility, and pre-authorization/predetermination
elements. Assisted the Center in the development of business and
programming specifications for the compliant implementation of the
NCPDP transaction sets.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center – Conducted HIPAA
transaction and code set compliance gap analysis. Included analysis
and documentation of data gaps between currently used transactions
and HIPAA X12N transactions. Performed assessment of impacts
and prioritized those impacts to ensure their HIPAA compliance plan
is complete and effective.

State of Louisiana – State Group Employee Benefits Program.
Provided system development for ECMap and ECGateway
functionality for the IMPACT and RIMS Claim Adjudication System
integration of HIPAA X12 transaction set 837 (Healthcare Claim), and
NSF and UB92 standards transaction sets. Coordination and
implementation with trading partners WebMD (formerly Envoy), The
SSI Group and other local medical care providers.

ERCOT – Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. administers
power grid operations for Texas and oversees the transactions resulting
from the restructuring of the Electric Industry. Provided consulting
services for the development and maintenance of ECMap and
ECGateway application environment. Supporting X12 Transaction
sets 810 (Invoice), 814 (Enrollment Request and Response), 820
(Remittance Advice), 824 (Application Advice) and 867 (Historical
and Monthly Usage and Initial Meter Read Notification).

Sagamore Health Network, Inc. – Managed Healthcare Service
Provider for hospitals, physicians and other medical care providers.


MediFAX-EDI, Inc. – Healthcare Service Provider of online, realtime patient eligibility information. Provided map development and
implemented HIPAA X12 transaction sets 270 (Healthcare Eligibility
Inquiry) and 271 (Healthcare Eligibility Information.

Navicure, Inc. – Healthcare Medical Office Billing for web based
claims processing. Provided technical support for the implementation
of HIPAA X12 standard transaction set 837 (Healthcare Claim).

Coordinated Care Solutions – Healthcare Managed Care Services

February 1998 to June 1998 – Provided technical consulting services for
HQotient on the I-Link Enterprise system. Systems development using TSI
Mercator mapping tool. This system replaced the manual service bureau
healthcare systems collection process with an automated process of collecting
hospital treatment and financial information that is sent via an
Internet/Intranet based Virtual Private Network, to a central data repository
healthcare database.

January 1997 to June 1998 – Provided technical consulting services for Edge
Technologies on the Lockheed Martin Mission Systems Project. Provided the
analysis and integration of the EDI system for the Defense Logistics Agency
Air Logistics C5 information system. SAP integration of X12 standard
transaction 850 (Purchase Order) and 997 (Functional Acknowledgment).
Performed software release manager duties.

January 1997 to June 1998 – Provided technical consulting services for
Datamatix on the Fairfax County Purchasing and Supply Management
Agency Project. Responsibilities included analysis, design and development
of an agency-wide EDI system to replace the current paper purchase order
processing; and integration of the EDI system with the current mainframe
financial system. Implemented X12 standard transaction 850 (Purchase
Order), 810 (Invoice) and 997 (Functional Acknowledgment).
PaperFree Systems, Inc – May 1996 to December 1996
EDI Professional Services: Provided technical consulting services for the
PaperFree Systems EDI map development tool and EDI communication
and message management software products. Responsibilities included
analysis, design and development of EDI system components; and EDI
implementation and integration consulting services to commercial, state
and federal government customers.
Wang Federal, Inc. (formerly HFSI) – June 1981 to May 1996

EDI Integration: Responsible for the evaluation, installation and implementation
of EDI translation software and mapping tools. Experienced with EDI systems
components, including hardware, software and communications. Provided
consulting service and support to customer sites implementing EDI systems.

NetWare Engineer: Certified NetWare Engineer responsible for network analysis,
design, installation, and support. Coordinate with research and development
activities pertaining to network hardware and software products for proposed and
existing customer sites.

System Design: Utilized system development methodologies and CASE tools for
software development projects, includes client/server, PC-based and mainframe
application environment. Performed project management duties for technical
development projects of relational database information systems.

