TRENDS BOOK, SUMMARY Spring / Summer 2010 Trends
DETAIL MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
Presentation of the “Inspirations” book
Exclusively published by ModAmont for industry players and accessory stylists, this
tool focuses on 8 style themes, an unexpected choice of materials and textures and
a range of colour harmonies that is exclusive to the show. By : Farouk CHEKOUFI
Interpreting S/S 2010 trends in a concept that can be used by the industry, opening
up new avenues for accessory design, the 2L.SA design agency offers a design tool
which is as useful in a design studio as in a factory.
A palette of 24 colours associated with 40 texture close-ups gives a glimpse of
the season in terms of the chromo-materiality of materials and colours.
This deck of cards is divided into 8 trends and 8 colour harmonies. Each of these 8
texture/colour combinations captures the accessories trends of the men’s and
women’s ready-to-wear, casualwear and sportswear sectors.
Cross-cutting and unusual uses, latest trends for each of the ready-to-wear sectors
covered by the ModAmont show, documentary wealth and originality of the approach,
all are inspired by worlds which are rich in creativity.
