By : Farouk CHEKOUFI Interpreting S/S 2010 trends in a concept that can be used by the industry, opening up new avenues for accessory design, the 2L.SA design agency offers a design tool which is as useful in a design studio as in a factory. A palette of 24 colours associated with 40 texture close-ups gives a glimpse of the season in terms of the chromo-materiality of materials and colours. This deck of cards is divided into 8 trends and 8 colour harmonies. Each of these 8 texture/colour combinations captures the accessories trends of the men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, casualwear and sportswear sectors. Cross-cutting and unusual uses, latest trends for each of the ready-to-wear sectors covered by the ModAmont show, documentary wealth and originality of the approach, all are inspired by worlds which are rich in creativity. WOMEN’S TRENDS READY-TO-WEAR Metallic moirés, cut-outs and transparency, neons and optical resiliences, where the name of the game is chromo-materiality and the natural artificiality of textures.
