Graduate College Update
(January 14, 2015)
 Graduate College Fellowships. The purpose of these Fellowships is to attract very highly qualified graduate
students. With the additional $2,000 added to the GA stipend, these students could have an advantage of coming to
MSU versus being lured away by offers of more funding from competing institutions. Eligibility and nomination
requirements can be found at http://graduate.missouristate.edu/currentstudents/Assistantships.htm. Look for the
Graduate College Fellowship listed on the left-hand side of the page.
 Graduate College Online Open House. The Graduate College will be hosting an Online Open House for
prospective students Feb. 5, 2015, 11am-4pm. This virtual event will use the same company as our past “Graduate
College Virtual Fairs,” CareerEco, but will only have three available chat rooms: Graduate Admissions, Graduate
Assistantships and Accelerated Programs. Graduate College staff and grad students will be chat room administrators
and will be available the entire duration of the event to answer questions.
