It is dark and desolate in the autumn night. Leaves fall from the nearby trees onto the grass in the front yard.
A six-year old blonde boy, MICHAEL MYERS, stands in the front yard dressed in a clown costume, staring at his house blankly.
ANNOUNCER
They say the circle began when he murdered his sister...
INT. JUDITH’S ROOM
YOUNG MICHAEL stabs JUDITH over and over again as she screams.
FLASH of MICHAEL staring blankly out into the road afterwards as his parents stand looking down at him.

ANNOUNCER

CHILD MICHAEL turns at the intrusion of DR. SAM LOOMIS in his sanitarium room. His face is etched in rage.
LOOMIS
You knew what you were doing. Didn’t you, Michael? You aren’t insane, are you? You consciously and knowingly killed your sister.

INT. THE MYERS HOUSE
JOHN TATE turns to see THE SHAPE standing on the stairwell.
JOHN
After all these years, Michael...you’re gonna die.
ANNOUNCER
An innocent child corrupted by evil...
MICHAEL sits up screaming in bed as a MAN IN BLACK stands in his room.

FLASH to LONNIE ELAMB, sitting outside the MYERS house on his motorcycle. RACHEL CORRUTHERS is standing behind him.
RACHEL
Come on, Lonnie. Go on in. I dare you.
LONNIE smiles and turns to her with a smirk.
FLASH to an intense LONNIE standing over RACHEL’S grave as rain pours down from the skies.
ANNOUNCER

FLASH to KARA as she stares from a diner window out into the road with tears in her eyes as TOMMY stands behind her.
KARA
I miss my parents. How could this all happen to us?

MICHAEL appears behind SARA and FREDDIE in Resurrection . They turn and look in horror.
