Call for Papers
The 2013 International Symposium on Chemical Engineering (ISCE2013) will take place on 1-2 Nov 2013 in
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The proposed symposium intends to create a forum for bringing together
researchers from universities in Taiwan and Vietnam and other countries for exchanging novel ideas in the
domain of chemical engineering and expanding academic collaboration. All of the research to be presented
involves the latest advanced topics related to chemical engineering such as biotechnology, energy and
resources, advance materials and other special issues. It is expected that the emerging technologies and
scientific advancements in chemical engineering will be disseminated during the Symposium. Presentations
will also feature new and innovative technologies in the relevant fields.

SCOPE OF SYMPOSIUM
Contributions in the various aspects from fundamental sciences to applied technologies in Chemical
Engineering sector are invited. Types of contribution would be both oral and poster presentations. Topics in
this symposium cover the following area:

SYMPOSIUM PROCEEDINGS AND JOURNAL PUBLICATION
Accepted papers will be published in the Symposium Proceeding. Selected papers from those presented in the
Symposium are to be published in a Special Issue of the Journal of Science and Technology (Vietnam
Academy of Science and Technology).
(The format for preparation of the full length paper will be informed to the confirmed participants separately)

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Interested authors are required to submit abstracts in MS Word format no later than 15th June 2013. The
Abstract must show title of paper; author’s affiliation and contact details (e-mail address, postal address and
telephone number); a body of 150 – 300 words; and 3 – 5 key words. Five A4-page full papers should be
submitted by 15th July. All manuscripts must be in English or Vietnamese. Abstract and full papers should be
