Applied no reply received. But I was very late in applying. Most of the Trusts give interest free loans, very few give grants. All loans given are interest free except R D Sethna which takes 2% interest (conditions apply, please read carefully have mentioned the details). Most of the trusts requires endowment policy from LIC Plan 14 for 20 years for the loan amount given which has to be assigned to them. All policies taken will be re-assigned to you once you pay back the loan amount. The list of trusts is very exhaustive but many trusts have got shifted or are closed now or they don’t give funds for higher education. 13 Updated: September 2009 Scholarship List Anyone planning to go to UK must visit British Council or British Library in your own city even before starting with the application process for Universities. They would show you how you can choose a University as in different things to see before applying. The British Council can also give you a list of some Scholarship Funds.
