1 Purpose
This configuration guide provides the information you need to set up the configuration of this
building block manually
2 Preparation
2.1 Prerequisites
Before you start installing this building block, you must install prerequisite building blocks. For
more information, see the Building Block Prerequisite Matrix for Baseline. The matrix (an Excel
file) is linked on the solution's DVD/website in one of the following two locations:

Maintain Storage Location – Storage Locations
Use
In this step, you create the storage location ‘Reprocessing’
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

3.1.2
Define Storage Location MRP per Plant
Use
In this step, you define the default values for storage location MRP (multi-plant).
The indicator that you set here is proposed when creating a material master record for the
storage locations maintained.
If you have created a material for a storage location in the material master, for whom you have
maintained a proposal value in Customizing, then the indicator defined by you is automatically
adopted in the storage location MRP field. You have the following options for storage location
MRP:

Plan storage location separately

Exclude storage location from MRP
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

Define Order Types
Use
In this activity, you define the new order type for reprocessing.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

2. Select the line with YBM1 and choose Copy as.
3. On the Change View ”Maintain Production Order Types”: Details of Selected S screen, make
the following entries:

6. Choose Save.
7. In the Information window that comes up, choose Continue (Enter) and go back to the IMG

Define Order Type-Dependent Parameters
Use
In this activity, you define the parameters that are valid for each order type and plant.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

Define Checking Control
Use
In this activity, you define the check control. The checking rule together with the checking group
specifies the scope of the check.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

Define Scheduling Parameters for Production Orders
Use
In this step you define for each plant, order type and production scheduler the parameters for
scheduling production orders.
Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
