For more information, see the Building Block Prerequisite Matrix for Baseline. The matrix (an Excel file) is linked on the solution's DVD/website in one of the following two locations: Content Library Site Map 3 Configuration 3.1 Organizational Structure 3.1.1 Maintain Storage Location – Storage Locations Use In this step, you create the storage location ‘Reprocessing’ Procedure 1. Choose Copy (Enter). 8. Choose Save. 3.1.2 Define Storage Location MRP per Plant Use In this step, you define the default values for storage location MRP (multi-plant). The indicator that you set here is proposed when creating a material master record for the storage locations maintained. If you have created a material for a storage location in the material master, for whom you have maintained a proposal value in Customizing, then the indicator defined by you is automatically adopted in the storage location MRP field. You have the following options for storage location MRP: Plan storage location separately Exclude storage location from MRP Procedure 1. Procedure 1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options: IMG Menu Production Shop Floor Control Master Data Order Define Order Types Transaction Code OPJH 2. Select the line with YBM1 and choose Copy as. 3. On the Change View ”Maintain Production Order Types”: Details of Selected S screen, make the following entries: Field Description User action and values Order type YBM5 Order type description Reprocessing order 4. Leave all other fields unchanged. 5. Choose Copy 6. Choose Save. 7. In the Information window that comes up, choose Continue (Enter) and go back to the IMG menu. Result The Reprocessing order type YBM5 is defined. 3.2.2 Define Order Type-Dependent Parameters Use In this activity, you define the parameters that are valid for each order type and plant. Procedure 1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options: IMG Menu Production Shop Floor Control Master Data Order Define Order-Type Dependent Parameters Transaction Code OPL8 2. Result The order-type dependent parameters have been copied for order type YBM5. 3.2.3 Define Checking Control Use In this activity, you define the check control. The checking rule together with the checking group specifies the scope of the check. Procedure 1. Select the line with type YBM1, plant 1000 and business function 1. 3. Choose Copy as. 4. Result The check control has been set up for order type YM01 and plant 1000. 3.2.4 Define Scheduling Parameters for Production Orders Use In this step you define for each plant, order type and production scheduler the parameters for scheduling production orders. Procedure 1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options: IMG Menu Production Shop Floor Control Operations Scheduling Define Scheduling Parameters for Production Orders Transaction Code OPU3 2. Select the line with YBM1 and plant 1000. 3. Choose Copy as. 4. On the Change View ”Order Control”: Details screen, make the following entries: Field Description User action and values Order type YBM5 Plant 1000 5. Leave all other fields unchanged. 6. Choose Copy (Enter). 7. Choose Save. 8. In the Information window that comes up, choose Continue (Enter) and go back to the IMG menu.
