Leaping Lizards Day Nursery Fees
January 2013 – December 2013
Fees are payable monthly in advance by direct debit. Fees are calculated on the basis of the 50 weeks of
the year that we are open, and divided into 12 equal monthly payments. Fees reduce when children
reach 2 ½ years (when they move from Treetops to the Jungle Room) and again when they
become eligible for Government funding from the term after their third birthday.
No refunds are given in the event of sickness or family holidays, as places are held open.
The nursery is closed for 3 training days each year; dates are notified at least 6 weeks in advance. These
are working days for staff and fees include this investment in our staff.
When your child is offered a place at Leaping Lizards a deposit of £500.00 becomes payable.
£100.00 of this deposit is used to settle your child into the nursery (over 1 or 2 weeks). £ 400.00 will
then be returned upon leaving, subject to the correct notice period being given and all fees being fully
paid.
Fees are inclusive of all care provision, art and craft materials, freshly prepared food and drink as well as
local outings (with the exclusion of exceptional trips). During the year we do provide classes such as
baby yoga, French, dance and music that are included in the price. Parents are asked to provide babies
with formula milk and nappies.

Yerbury School pick up and drop off collection (aged 3 – 5 years only)
8am – 9.05am = £10 per session
(includes breakfast - with a 9.10am drop off at Yerbury Primary School)
3.30pm – 6pm = £18 per session
(with a 3.30pm collection from Yerbury and afternoon tea at Leaping Lizards)
N.b: Cost for both sessions on the same day = £25.00 per session
Whilst we do not swap days, additional hours and emergency days cover are organized whenever
possible. Extra hours that are booked in advance with management are charged at £ 10.00 per hour
Please Note: 2 months written notice is required when your plan for your child to leave and 2 months
fees are due, including during closing periods. Please also note that any alterations in attendance
require a 2 months written notice.
Fees are subject to revision on an annual basis and written notice will be given of any changes.
