October ‘05 to November 06 with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance company Ltd. As
Relationship Manager.
Achievements:
Handling Micro Insurance and Venue Sales –Kerala.
I have opened first Venue of Bajaj in cochin.
Appointed 14 franchisees in rural locations across Kerala.
Within 3 months in the system generated a business of 43.6 Lacs(32.1 Rated premium)
Recruited 26 executives for Micro Insurance and 10 Sales Executives for Venue Sales.
Completed all recruitment targets by the 2nd week of Jan’06.
From Jan 2004 to Sept ‘05 with Hindalco Industries Ltd as Area Sales Manager, Kerala.
Hindalco Industries Limited, a flagship Company of the Aditya Birla Group, is an industry leader in
aluminum and copper.
Handling sales and marketing of aluminum products like “Fresh Wrap” foils and aluminum
containers etc. Also responsible for achieving primary and secondary sales targets, managing
distribution, sales promotion activities.
Achievements

Implemented a new collection policy in Kerala.

Appointed 2 separate distributors for covering institutions only- one for railways & one for
restaurants.

Instrumental in adding sale of 1.5 ton from the new railway distributor.

Appointed 12 substockists in remote areas and avoided delay in supplies by connecting
stockiest to the main stockiest, resulting in a profitable business.
From Nov’01 to Dec’03 with General Mills as Sales Officer
Food processing company is a major producer of packaged consumer foods including
flour, cereal, yogurt, snacks, baking mixes.
Handled the sales and marketing operations in assigned areas of Trivendrum, Kollam,
Pathanamthitta, and Alleppey districts with 5 sales representatives and 11 distributors, covering
2400 outlets.
Achievements

Attached the Food world supermarket with General Mills’s cream outlets section.

Operated weekly consumer promo for Pillsbury Atta in all major Margin free Outlets.

Successful in developing a outlet from 300 kg to 1.2 ton in Food world, Trivandrum
From 1996 to 2001 with Godrej Pillsbury Ltd as Sales Officer
A Joint venture between Godrej foods and Pillsbury international, with products like Pillsbury atta,
semiya, cake mixes etc.
Managed sales and marketing activities in the areas of North Kerala i.e. Calicut, Kanpur,
Kasaragod, Wynad districts, with 4 sales representatives, covering 2140 outlets
Achievements

Successfully covered remote markets of North Kerala by increasing the distributors from 9 to
12 and appointing 1 super stockiest.

Instrumental in launching Pillsbury chakki fresh atta and Semiya in the assigned zone.

Conducted lucky draw for all the dealer of Pillsbury Atta a t Calicut city and awarded them the
prizes in a grand ceremony. The first ever dealer meeting in Kerala.
Commenced career (1995-1996) with Godrej Foods Ltd as Sales Officer.
Godrej Foods Limited is into business of manufacturing and selling processed foods and trading of
vegetable oil.
Managed the overall branch operations as a profit centre , covered the areas of Trichur, Plakkad,
Malappuram, Ernakulam districts with 4 sales representatives & 11 distributors, handled products
viz Jumpin, Vanaspati, Sunflower etc.
Achievements

Exceeded the targets of Godrej Jumpin.

BA (Political Science & economics) from Calicut University in 1993.
Presently doing MBA from Manipal Institute of Higher Education.


