Students take turns reading cards and guessing who it is. Using white boards, student writes a 4 or 5 digit number – not showing anyone else. They have to line up from greatest to least. (talking or not talking) Put a word etc. from our map skills on a student’s back. Others have to give a hint about the meaning and the student has to guess. Each spells a letter. When everyone is ready, the first student takes the prop, turns to their neighbor and says, “Good morning,__. Did you know (they say a fact about the prop)? Using the paper about classificationread a list to each student to see if that student can find the mismatch. The teacher says “Good Morning,__” Then that student hears their name, they open their eyes and return the greeting. Then they greet someone who has their eyes closed. Each student will come to the circle with their name written on a piece of paper. Students then crumple their paper and give time for a “snowball fight”. At the end of the “snowball fight” each student needs to grab one “snowball”, open it and greet the student whose name is on their piece of paper.
