Welcome to Business/CAOT 31- Business English,
My name is Mrs. Jennings, and I will be your online instructor. I am happy you
have chosen to enroll in this course, and I am looking forward to working with
you this semester.
In this course we will examine the mechanics of business communications. We
will study grammar fundamentals, sentence structure, punctuation, and
document revision.
This course will be taught 100 percent online. Lectures are given online, and all
quizzes, tests, and assignments will be completed online. There are no required
on-campus meetings. While you will enjoy greater flexibility in scheduling your
study time, you will need to be self-motivated and disciplined in setting your
study schedule and completing course requirements. All assignments, tests, and
quizzes will be completed according to a specific timeline.
Required Textbook:

separately at the bookstore. This will allow you to enter the course website and
work on the assignments, take the quizzes, and view the class lectures.
