Dirk Benedict was born in Seattle in 2027 to Rinkano and Delina Benedict. They both
were mid-grade programmers for Ares. During the crash, Dirk’s original SIN was
destroyed, but due to his parent’s position, he continued on, eductated by Ares in the
same field that his parents worked. He was assigned a temporary SIN while systems were
rebuilt.
His education continued normally, his intelligence allowing him to excel at the technical
skills needed, while a natural charm helped me remain popular among his peers. Soon he
graduated and sought educational sources outside of Ares’ domain. A few private tutors,
barely affordable by his parent’s salaries gave him a slight edge as he began working
himself. He had several smaller breakthroughs which were quickly bought up by Ares,
giving him enough that he decided to ‘retire’ at the age of 25, along with set his parents
up comfortably without much worry.
He spent much of the past two years just enjoying life. He has a small house with more
than enough room for himself, as well as storage for two vehicles and a small personal
plane. He is currently seeing a rather dashing woman who works in the trid industry.
While they are close, her schedule tends to get in the way of them spending too much
time together.

event neither really cared for or wanted to be there for, but were stuck
none the less. They struck up a working relationship and seem to get along
relatively well.

doc, but went private when the money became tempting. Maintains a
decent operation with legitimate licenses, but caters to those that don’t

No family of his own. Seeing woman semi-seriously, but her schedule leaves little

Educated in corporate schools early in life. Sought out private tutorings as time
went on to allow him greater learning with computers and other skills.

Worked as a software developer for many years. Made money in his early 20’s
through several small breakthroughs and quick programs useful and bought out by
Ares. ‘Retired’ from public work at age of 25.

Political: Isn’t fond of big government or Corp government, but can see the
overall purpose of it.
Religious: Not very religious except for the spirit of the machine. The thing that
just guides those to what needs to be done in a program.

Have fun, don’t get killed. He’s always in search of that next interesting thing to
do, or to find something to really get behind.

To have fun. He devoted a small part of his life to working and it paid off for him
then. Time for something a little more exciting.

Slightly cocky, and very self assured. He knows he’s not incapable, so its up to
himself to keep things interesting in his life.

Highly intelligent and charismatic. He enjoys talking to people, and seeing what
