In 2009, the passing rate of 9th grade students on the NYS Integrated Algebra Regents
was 82%. By June 2010, there will be a 5-10% increase in the percentage of students
passing the 9th grade Integrated Algebra regents.

achievement in the coursework of Integrated Algebra at least three times per
week

Insure that at least 60% of my weekly math instruction will include activities that
provide differentiation of instruction by process
Describe your plan for meeting your goal

Attend weekly math and science meetings that serve as a platform to discuss
strategies to differentiate instruction

Attend Professional development sessions aimed toward interpreting and utilizing
data from different sources to aid in differentiation

Provide additional opportunities for students to engage in differentiated instruction
via daily tutorials (lunchtime and after school) as well as on Saturdays

Receive additional support from math team members who work with students to
target specific learning needs through push-in or pull-out

Use Scantron performance series to identify the specific needs of students in
order to do the following:
