EXPERIENCE
Lecturer (2004-2008) and Assistant Professor (2009-to date)
Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar is a prestigious educational institution in the
public sector where I served as lecturer from 2004 to 2008 and was promoted as Assistant
Professor in 2009. In 2011, I was appointed as Assistant Professor under the Tenure Track
System.
My subject of interest in teaching and research are Corporate Finance, Financial Risk
Management, Strategic Financial Management, Investment Analysis, Financial Markets and
Institutions, Computer Applications in Finance, Critical Review of Literature.
Coordinator MBA (Banking and Finance, 2010-to 2013)
I assumed charge as coordinator of MBA (Banking and Finance) program in 2010. As a
coordinator, I assigned courses to teachers, handled students’ academic issues, worked in
liaison with the Institute of Banker of Pakistan (IBP) for arranging internships and coaching
classes, and actively participated in different committees (such as advisory committee,
semester committee, etc.) of the Institute to discuss and give advice on various issues of the
Institute.
HEC’s Approved Supervisor (2012- to date)
HEC is the apex body for setting standards and monitoring of the higher Education in Pakistan.
In its efforts to ensure quality research at PhD level, it introduced the concept of PhD Approved
Supervisors who are selected on the basis of research publications and other contributions. I
was approved as PhD Supervisor in 2012.


Serving as member of editorial board of the Institute of Management Sciences Journal,
“Business & Economic Review”, which is published semi-annually.

and is published bi-annually by SZABIST

Serving as member of National Review Panel of the Pakistan Journal of Commerce and
Financial Studies. The journal is published by Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan,
Pakistan.
Hostel Warden (2008-2012)
I assumed charge as warden of male hostel in 2008 where I was involved in managing the
hostel’s daily affairs, seats allotment, and hostel fee collection etc.
