MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
 I designed and created a Menu and Security system that has been part of the DBQ
Database from 1988 to the current day. (Still in use in Victoria / France / New Zealand)
 With my business partner I Implemented a Billing System for the Department of Natural
Resources and Water in the beginning of the 1990's. In 1995 and attempt was made to
replace this with a commercial system which was never able to be fully implemented.
Another attempt was made which failed again. I was called back in 2001 to recreate a
working system. I designed and implemented the current (interim) system, and by 2006 the
department had caught up with the billing backlog. (Over the last 2 years an attempt has
been made to replace the interim system which at a current cost of over $ 3 million has not
(yet) succeeded)
 Between 1995 and 2000 I worked on a scheduling system for Marine Pilots for the QLD
Department of Transport(Maritime Division). This was initially installed in Hay Point,
and subsequently through all departmental harbours in Queensland.
 After finishing I was contracted by the Brisbane Pilots to create a similar system for the
Brisbane harbour. (2001 – 2003). (Port of Brisbane is independent from QLD Department
of Transport)
