CGC1P SUMMATIVE: CANADIAN GEOGRAPHY BOARD GAME There are no extensions for this summative, and completing the summative is a requirement to complete this course. You will have class time to work on it, where you may decide to make your game cards, research and write your questions, or find pictures to make your game look more professional. This summative is to be completed individually. Your main resources will be all your notes from this year. This will be worth 15% of your final grade in the course. 1. DEVELOP A PLAN for your game. The game will be played in class and should be at an appropriate level. Your plan will need to consider: number of players, style of game (drawing, charades, trivia questions, or explaining questions), best way to relay the gathered information, and of course, make it fun! The game will be played in class to help your peers prepare for the final exam. 2. WRITE QUESTIONS. You are responsible for developing 50 different questions (as well as the answers) that will be used in the game. Be sure to number your questions and include the answer on the back of the question card (or you can include an answer page). There should be 10 questions from each unit that we’ve studied (30 questions in December, and 20 questions in January). 3. CREATE YOUR BOARD.
