A. Write your name in the upper right corner
B. Write the word “Photosynthesis” spell it correctly!
C. Look on page 93 and draw or trace the chloroplast and label it “Chloroplast” spell it correctly!
D. Draw an example of an organism (plant’s leaf or stem) that would be carrying out photosynthesis
E. Color both drawings in C. and D. listed above
2. On the other side of the folded sleeve of the model:
A. Write the word “Respiration” – spell it correctly!
B. Look on page 93 and draw or trace the mitochondrion and label it “Mitochondrion” – spell it
correctly
C. Draw an example of an organism using energy (it could be you doing something active)
D. Color both drawings in B. and C. listed above
3. Draw the reactants and products using colored pencils only for each process:
A. On one side of the strip of paper: (for photosynthesis)
1. Left side: draw/label/color the 3 reactants of photosynthesis
2. Right side: draw/label/color the 2 products of photosynthesis
B. On the other side of the strip of paper: (for respiration)
1. Left side: draw/label/color the 2 reactants of respiration
2. Right side: draw/label/color the 3 products of respiration
