ESCAMBIA COUNTY SEQUENCED CURRICULUM
HIGH SCHOOL MATHEMATICS
ALGEBRA I A
The McDougall Littell Algebra I Concepts and Skills textbook will be used by Tate High School, Pensacola High School, and
Northview High School.
The Prentice Hall Algebra I textbook will be used by Escambia High School, Pine Forest High School, Washington High School,
and West Florida Tech High School.
A semester exam for each semester will be developed by the district and administered in all classes during exam week.
The exam will consist of 33 multiple choice questions. Any teacher may add up to 7 additional questions of any type.
Each semester exam will be sent electronically to the schools the week prior to exam week and individual schools will be
responsible for test security, test copying, and test grading.
Individual teachers may use the re-testing practices of Algebra For All.
Individual teachers may use components of Algebra For All for testing purposes, Pre-Algebra Review, or FCAT Preparation.
